Box of 12 vanilla gaufres

With this unique edition of the famous vanilla gaufre, the Château de Fontainebleau and Méert wanted to pay a gourmet tribute to celebrate the bicentenary of the death of Emperor Napoleon 1st.

In 1804, on the eve of his coronation, Napoleon decided to make the Château de Fontainebleau one of his residences. He lived there until the end of his reign, thus following in the footsteps of monarchs and breaking away from the glitz and glamour of Versailles.

Napoleon's path crossed that of our House on numerous occasions, notably during his visit to Lille as First Consul in 1803, and in 1809 when, surrounded by his entire court, he welcomed his second wife, Marie-Louise, to Cambrai.

With this unique edition of the famous vanilla gaufre, the Château de Fontainebleau and Maison MÉERT wanted to pay a gourmet tribute to the Emperor Napoleon I.
